Extra-Curricular Activities

We are pleased to be able to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities. These activities support our curriculum and benefit the children’s learning as well as being fun and providing them with new skills. The majority of our clubs are led and organised by the teachers and teaching assistants during lunchtimes, before and after school. Some of the clubs are run by qualified, external coaches and experts all of whom are fully DBS checked.

We are able to offer a wide range of sporting clubs, including football, athletics, tri-golf, dance, tag rugby, netball, hockey, cross-country.  In addition to these we provide a wide range of other activities including Drama, Science, Cookery, Choir, Arts and Crafts clubs.

This list is regularly reviewed and updated.

Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds Awards
December 19
To conclude the fantastic term of sport and healthy initiatives, we held our first ever HBHM Award ceremony at school. Awards were given out to pupils in each class who had demonstrated superb effort in PE lessons, and to outstanding club members and sports leaders. Miss Marsden even won an award for her excellent leadership of cross-country club!
To add to this, Miss Gray's class won the November Walk to School trophy.
We encourage active participation in all our healthy body and healthy mind activities and we can't wait to see more of you participating in Spring, whether that is through active play events and break, through the new spring clubs or just by taking a healthier option to travel to school.
