MacMillan Cake Sale
On Friday afternoon, we had a cake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event was extremely well attended and all cakes were sold within 15 minutes of the doors opening. Thank you to everyone who donated cakes as we managed to raise an impressive total of £388.  Thank you for your continued support.
Summer Reading Challenge
Well done to all of our children who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge run by Wirral libraries. We had 78 children who managed to complete the challenge and received a certificate and a medal. A further 26 children took part and received a certificate.
Clubs Begin
This week, all extra-curricular clubs will begin. There are a wide variety of clubs taking place from History Club to Netball Club to Gardening Club. The club schedule is in the enrichment section of the website and explains when each club is happening and who it is for. If your child is interested in joining a club then please contact the office as there may still be spaces available..
Bike It, Scoot It, Walk It Breakfast
To celebrate the Tour of Britain, we had a Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds event on Friday morning. Children and adults were encouraged to travel to school in a healthy way and were welcomed with a delicious breakfast and a fun cycle route on the infant playground. The morning was extremely fun and very well attended. Thank you to everyone for such a positive start to our new academic year.
Tour of Britain
Today our Sports Ambassadors walked to Bebington to experience the Tour of Britain. One of the teams even provided us with cycling caps to wear. Whilst they enjoyed watching by the road, the other children took part in cycling inspired activities including designing new kits.
