Year 2 Trip
As part of their Religious Education unit, Year 2 walked to Holy Trinity Church to examine the key features of the church and the importance of Chrisitnaity on our local community. Even though many of the children attend community groups at the chuch, it was interesting for them to get a different perspective of the the building.
World Book Day
Today we celebrated on eof the most significant skills that a human can possess - the ability to read. At Poulton we know how important reading is to a successful future life and for World Book Day we allowed the children to bring in their favourite books. We read them to other people and discussed why we enjoy them so much. The children also created their own short stories, which will be added to a school book of stories.
