Y3 Chester Trip

As part of their history unit, Year 3 visited history in their locaility by travelling to Chester. After looking around the museum, they attended a workshop before marching around the amphitheatre with a Roman Centurion! What an informative trip!
Parent Consultations

Y5 Swimming 
January 23
For the past two weeks, Year 5 pupils have been developing their swimming skills at the Oval Leisure Centre. This is part of the PE National Curriculum but also teaches them key life skills.
Sporting Successes

F2 Visitors

As part of their work about understanding the world, F2 are having some special visitors in to school They began with a visit from the police! They taught the pupils about their job, about their equipment and even let them sit in the police van. What a treat!
Y1 Chinese Workshop

Year One enjoying learning about Chinese culture and Chinese New Year by participating in a Chinese workshop. The children learned traditional dances and even got to become part of the dragon!
Bike It Breakfast

As part of our Helthy Bodies Healthy Midns initiative, we held out first Bike It, Walk It, Scoot It Breakfast of the year. It was wonderful to see so many children actively travelling to school, which had an impact on both their health and traffic around school. The temptation of pancakes and fruit clearly worked. We look forward to holding another breakfast in the summer term.
Y5 Bikeability

As poart of our rights, children have the right to be safe. This week 5AD learned how to keep themselves safe whilst cycling on the roads. This was a very emjoyable experience but also a very important life skill to learn. Thankyou to the instructors for taking the pupils out.
