We are proud to compete in a variety of Level 2 and Level 3 events around Wirral and Liverpool. Here you will find brief reports about the competitions we compete in.

Tranmere Rovers Girls Tournament 23rd April                                                                                                                                                           Our year 6 girls football team travelled to the brand new Shaftesbury football pitches to take part in a football tournament. We were placed in a group alongside Devonshire Park, St Josephs, Park Primary and St Peter's Primary school. During the first game against Devonshire Park, the girls played some really good football and battled right the way through but unfortunately lost 2-0. Our second game was a really tough game against Park who had some really good players. Evie in goal made some outstanding saves. Park went on to score 2 amazing goals to win the game. During the third game, we stepped it up another gear and dominated but the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net. St Peters went on to win the game 1-0. Our final game against St Joseph's was another great performance from the girls and again the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net. St Josephs went on to win 1-0. Although the results didn't go our way, the team played really well and we look forward to our next game.

Year 5/6 Birkenhead Park Rugby 23rd April                                                                                                                                                              A team of Year 5/6 pupils played in the second round of the Birkenhead Park Rugby Club competition. The team was placed in a group with 3 other schools: Bidston Avenue, Overchurch and Oxton. in the first two games we came out on top, winning 6-2 and 5-1. Our final game against Bidston avenue was end-to-end but we won 5-4. The team played some fantastic rugby throughout the whole night and advanced through to the finals night next week.

Year 3 Football V St Peter's 19th April                                                                                                                                                                        Our year 3 football team played their first match of the school year on Friday night against a very good St Peter's team. This was the first time that the team had played together. The group played some really good football throughout the game, but unfortunately it finished 5-1 to St Peters. We are already looking forward to our next game.
