Harvest Festival

15th October 2018

On Monday 15th October we will be holding our Harvest Festival assembly in school and Paul Crowther from Holy Trinity Church will be our guest.

This year we will be supporting ‘WIRRAL FOOD BANK’ who provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Wirral Food Bank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

With this in mind, we are asking the children to donate non-perishable food items or toiletries, such as tinned vegetables, tinned fruit, tinned tomatoes, long grain rice, pasta, pasta sauce, UHT milk and tinned/packet soup   We are unable to accept perishable foods such as fruit, bread etc.

Due to limited storage please send these items to school on the morning of our assembly.  Thank you for your support.
